Every year for St. Patrick’s Day a rush of requests come in for couples to get married. Popular during this time is the Celtic ‘tying of the knot’ ceremony. This ceremony involves a ritualistic tying of the Bride and Grooms hands together, in other words, fasting them together.
To date, I’ve conducted two ceremonies of this type and both were absolutely AMAZING!
My most memorable ceremony to date for St. Patrick’s Day had to be the ceremony of Cleven & Jennifer Trammell. Married on Monday, March 17, 2014, their ceremony was probably one of the most ‘different’ types of ceremonies I’ve ever had.
First, Sir Cleven was donned in kilt. Wedding vows for each of the two were read and when it came to presentment of the rings, their two fur-babies did the honors in carrying them. Yes, the solicited the help of their two dogs!
Whether you want a ‘Tying of the Knot’ ceremony, something unusual and different or something fairly traditional, call on me to marry you on St. Patrick’s Day this year.
“I Will Marry You.”
