Two different cultures, two different traditions came together for this lovely family affair to join Detric and his Bride in matrimony in Simpsonville, South Carolina on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Besides experiencing a WHOLE smoked pig right on the festivities’ table, the Bride’s home country traditional dishes were quite the hit. Hadn’t experienced lumpia (The Bride hails from the Philippines) in a while. Whenever we had functions for our friends, it was always an option on base in Japan.
The excitement was fueled by the beautifully mild winter day we were having.
